Matt &... read more Sienna, our guides, were so friendly, enthusiastic and really helpful to make our session memorable. We were a group of 8 and all all different ages. The scenery was amazing and our guides took us through gullies, little rock islands, swimming in the sea and of course jumping off cliffs into the sea. I personally missed quite a few of the jumps as I was quite nervous and not as confident as the others in our group but my son and husband loved it and did a lot of the jumps more than once. I totally recommend costeering, it was a wonderful experience and I think I would be more confident in the jumps if I did it again. If you are on holiday in Cornwall this is a must do activity! First time coasteering and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Matt. My partner and I definitely aren’t the fittest people out there, but we still managed to complete the whole experience without feeling completely wiped out. It was such a fun adrenaline rush and a brilliant intro to cliff jumping. We were lucky enough to get a private coasteering session on a super amazing summer day with not a single cloud in the sky. The whole experience was adventurous and action-packed, but also surprisingly calm at times — getting to explore and see the true Cornish coastline from the water was absolutely beautiful. Would 100% recommend these guys if you’re up for an adventure and want to try something exciting for the first time.

I am so happy that I saw the coasteering group finishing up a session at Praa sands on Wednesday, I approached Matt on the beach and asked what the group... read more had been doing, he explained about the coasteering and said they were running another session the next morning. I booked a space for my 14 yr old son and his friend who was staying with us. The morning came and it was raining and miserable out, the boys enthusiasm to be up early and out in the rain was 0, however I got them there and off they went. Well they both came back incredibly happy. My son’s words “The man that runs the group must have some kind of magic powers, as he got me to do jumps that I never would have done, I am so happy that I went and achieved that”. He hasn’t stopped speaking about it since and about the seal that they saw during the excursion. Thanks so much Matt, we will definitely be back!

Matt and his two instructors manage to strike the perfect balance between adventure and safety — you always feel like you’re in expert hands, even in challenging conditions. This is one of the few activities in Cornwall that’s genuinely great value for money and delivers a proper sense of excitement and achievement. If you want something that’s adventurous, safe, and run by people who truly know what they’re doing, Kernow Coasteering is the real deal.
