Coasteering is an adventurous activity that involves traversing the coastline at sea level — climbing, swimming, and jumping into the sea where it’s safe to do so. It’s a unique way to explore the natural features of the Cornish coast that few people ever get to see.

Absolutely! Most of our sessions are designed with beginners in mind. You don’t need any experience, just a basic level of fitness and a sense of adventure.

We run coasteering and climbing sessions at several hand-picked from Land’s End to Praa Sands and the Isles of Scilly. Each one has been selected for its natural features, safety, and suitability for different experience levels. See our activities pages for more information.

We provide all essential safety gear, including a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, and any technical equipment needed for climbing or coasteering. You’ll just need to bring appropriate footwear and swimwear.

Watch out for the confirmation email when you book which tells you exactly what gear you need to bring, depending on the activity you have chosen.

Minimum age requirements vary by activity:

Coasteering: Ages 9 and up

Advanced Coasteering (Land’s End): Ages 16 and up, with strong swimming ability and prior experience required.

Climbing: Ages 5 and up

Under 14s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the activity.
